Like w a breast lift w implants. Does it last? Or will it begin to get loose again earlier than healthy skin? The extra skin on the upper pole of my breasts looks great when i manually push my breast tissue up into it. The extra skin on my belly looks great when I lift & stretch it. But I know on the cellular level, it just be different than my healthy skin. One thing I notice is the extra skin becomes reddened more easily when it’s hot or cold.

Answer: Loose skin changes with breast augmentation and abdominoplasty Some aspects of the skin changes with a "fill" or a "pull" as in mastopexy, or breast augmentation. The skin will "appear" tight or less wrinkly, but it's true texture does not change. Some factors are genetically determined and the process of aging in great part depends on it. When the skin that you are showing in your abdomen is so loose and you have stretch marks, the only way to have any improvement is to cut the extra skin and tighten the rest (abdominoplasty). An implant in the breast will add weight to the breast and if the skin is weak and too loose, it will get worse with time unless some skin is removed (mastopexy) and some of the weight of the implant is supported by the muscle.

Answer: Due the results last? How the skin reacts is due to many factors, including genetics, previous stretching, and ongoing forces. In weight loss patients, the dermis has been injured and will soften in most surgical cases. If you have good elastic tone, the results are often well maintained. Recurrence of saggy skin is probably most often seen with breast surgery. When choosing to have a breast lift with augmentation, patients should consider that the result will often soften over time and further surgery may be needed, whether in 3 months, 10 years, or hopefully never.

Answer: Loose skin Dear 16huck, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for breast lift and tummy tuck. YOu can get breast implants to improve fullness of breasts. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.
