Hello dear doctors When I search the internet, all plastic surgeons say that The Deep Plane Facelift corrects both nasolabial folds and the corners of the mouth. The other day I consulted one of my country's supposedly most skilled plastic surgeons, but also the most expensive. She says that the Deep Plane Facelift does not help in these areas, but fat grafting is necessary, as is a special lifting procedure of the corners of the mouth. What on earth am I supposed to believe?
Answer: Deep Plane Facelift Absolutely Softens Nasolabial Folds & Marionette Lines Good afternoon, Hard to know exactly what she recommended. When I counsel patients for deep plane facelift I tell them we are targeting three main structures in the face: mid face descent (fat dropping from upper cheek to lower cheek), jowling, and nasolabial creases/marionette lines. This isn't an opinion, this is just...a fact. This is absolutely the role of DPFL. Lip lift and fat grafting can also be useful adjuncts around the mouth, but they are correcting different issues. I often do these procedures combined. Hope this is helpful!

Answer: Does deep plane facelift correct the nasonabial fold? Yes, a Deep Plane Facelift effectively corrects nasolabial folds. Its primary purpose is to lift and reposition the midface, lower face, and neck as a cohesive unit, targeting the deeper facial tissues. By addressing the underlying structures that contribute to sagging, the procedure naturally softens and improves the appearance of nasolabial folds, creating a smoother, more youthful contour.

So a deep plane facelift should lift help nasolabial folds and some of the corner of the mouth (not as much there) when the tissue is adequately released. Fat grafting may need to be done as an adjunct for very deep lines. Hope this helps, all the best

Answer: What is a deep plane fecelift? A deep plane facelift is an advanced surgical technique that targets deeper facial structures for more natural and long-lasting results. Unlike simpler and less modern facelifts that primarily tighten the skin, the deep plane approach repositions the underlying muscles and tissues, addressing sagging and volume loss more efficiently. This technique provides a more youthful and refreshed appearance without the "pulled" look often associated with facelifts. Recovery time is comparable to other facelift methods, but the results are typically more enduring and harmonious.

Answer: Deep place facelift - nasolabial folds and corners of the mouth Thank you for your question. If you look on the internet at before and after images showing results of deep plane facelift in the hands of experienced surgeons, you will notice that the nasolabial folds and the corners of the mouth change relatively little. When the corners of the mouth appear to be coming down significantly, it is often because of visibility of the labiomandibular lines. The labiomandibular lines are significantly improved by deep plane facelift. I think the surgeon that you have consulted has explained correctly that lifting the corner of the mouth in a more precise manner generally requires a different procedure, but also one that often has to involve some visible scars at the corner of the upper lips, which is not necessarily what every patient would agree to.

Answer: Facelift If deep plane face and neck lift is performed correctly, it is useful in reducing the wrinkles in the nasolabial region, but it does not provide a hundred percent solution. Sometimes, there are cases that we support with fat injection. Best Erman Ak
