I had a deep plane lower facelift 13 months ago and have had many problems with recovery. I am still very numb on my lower ears and the sides of my jaw. When I touch these areas it used to feel terrible, stinging and prickling. This has ceased however, I now feel very little, almost nothing. More disturbingly is that I constantly feel pressure on each side of my face/ear area as though my head is in a vice. It is not painful, more a restrictive pressure. My surgeon is no longer practicing.
