What is the best procedure to achieve super skinny arms? (Photos)

Question

I have a very small waist but thick arms. I am 5”5 & weigh 125 lbs. My waist size is very disproportionate to my torso, making my arms look huge. It want always like this but my weight has stayed consistent. Everyone knows exercise doesn’t do much for arm fat so I am looking into getting Lipo. Which type/procedure is the best for this? I live between Miami & Boston. Thank you!

Generally liposuction  / liposculpture is the best treatment, provided that : 
there should be a sufficient amount of fat in order to make a difference. 
In your case , at first glance, there seems to be only a small to moderate amount of fat , hence only a discrete improvement can be made.
In some patients, skin removal  + liposuction will be the answer, which is called ' arm lift ' .
In  patients with loose skin or moderate amounts of fat , non-surgical options are also available, although surgery usually is the most efficient solution

In order to substantially reduce the size of your arms, you have to have fat to remove. Additional decrease in size comes from tightening of the tissue utilizing energy such as laser and Jplasma/Renuvion.  Another consideration would be muscle shrinkage using botox.

From your photos, you appear to be a good candidate for BodyTite.  BodyTite does not remove any fat, but it is capable of producing a 45% contraction in tissues.  It can be combined with liposuction to improve contours dramatically.  Results can be seen immediately after one treatment and are more evident over three to six months post-treatment. Wait until six months to fully evaluate the aesthetic results.  Sedentary activities can be resumed in two to three days and full activity with exercise within two to three weeks.

beatrizfr. I appreciate your concern however your treatment needs are fairly minimal, as you are obviously in very good shape. Traditional liposuction with very small cannulas, Micro Liposuction, is the best option for you because contouring is needed with minimal fat reduction.  You must understand however, that your results will be modest and not dramatic because there is little fat that needs to be removed. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon to increase your chances for the best possible result. Good luck.

Thanks for the question and provided information as well.
Based on your pictures, you are a good candidate for liposuction on your arms, and I think you'll get very good results.
In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 30 or less.
l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.

For someone who is of normal weight and has never lost excessive weight liposuction of ths is most often an adequate contouring approach. In my office for your type of minimal excess I often do this under a local anesthesia using small diameter but long length cannulas to give the best contour with least scar. In fact the scars are often very difficult to find. Although I have other modalities in the office such as power assisted liposuction, I most often use the traditional method for the arms.  A compression sleeve or garment is usually worn for about one week. There is no exercise for about two weeks. Most patients are thrilled with lipo of the arms.

Hi, and thanks for your question. Based on your photos, you only have a mild excess of fat in your arms, and your skin quality appears excellent. It is likely you could achieve some improvement with liposuction using small cannulas. Of course, having an in-person consultation and physical exam with a Plastic Surgeon is the only way to know for sure. My recommendation would be for small cannula liposuction.  Bear in mind that the lipo cannot be too aggressive because of the risk of skin sagging afterwards.

Based on your photos you have a little excess fatty tissue of the arms.  This can be corrected with liposuction using a small cannula.  We would put you in an arm garment that can be worn under clothes to help expedite the healing.  Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon for an in person evaluation.
