I've been working out all of my life but always had little fat just below my belly button. I tried everything from extreme aerobic workouts to CoolSculpting and Mesotheraphy multiple times. So, I finally did a lipo today and the doctor tells me he got 100cc out, that sounds very little to me, but he says he expected even less. Please take a look at a photo I took a day before the surgery. Does 100cc make sense to you?
Answer: Liposuction Results Ikkyu. I appreciate your concern, however you are extremely fit and you may be very satisfied with your Liposuction results. It is interesting that both CoolSculpting and Mesotherapy was unsuccessful for you, because they advertise fabulous results in patients like yourself, those with small amounts of well defined fat. I have encountered many patients who have also been displeased with their results from these techniques. Traditional liposuction, and in your case micro liposuction, is still the gold standard for removal of fat in areas unresponsive to diet and exercise. Small amount of fat was removed, most likely because that is all that was present and more aggressive treatment may have caused contour irregularities. It may take as long to six months for all swelling to resolve so try to stay patient and positive and follow up with your plastic surgeon. Good luck

Answer: Lipo Thank you for your question. 100 cc's is a very small amount to have removed. I would wait to see what the area looks like after some of the swelling comes on down and address your ending result with your surgeon.

Answer: ASER HI DEF 4D LIPO / 360 Degree Liposculpture / Body Contouring / HD Sculpting With Fat Transfer To Chest and Arms / BBL You are a great candidate for a VASER 4D HD liposuction procedure that not only removes fat but also sculpts and defines the musculature; this is designed for athletic, young, tight-skinned patients. You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. Traditional liposuction awake and smartliposuction are old methods and do very poorly for tightening skin or significant skin tightening or contouring. Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heat the skin with radiofrequency devices such as J PLASMA/RENUVION, InMode BodyTite, ThermiRF to heat the under surface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HIDEF VASER contouring and can only be done by a well trained body contouring specialist. At the same time fat should be harvested, PRP and stem cells added and injected into muscles or indentations/cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. This is known as a Brazilian Butt Lift when you inject the fat to the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face. Cellulite should also be treated with cellfina, sculptra, subcision and/or fillers such as bellafill, renuva synthetic fat, or sculptra. If skin is very loose before surgery then it will need to be removed such as lower abdominal skin (tummy tuck/abdominoplasty), breast skin (breast lift), arm skin (brachioplasty). Overall you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting. You are a great candidate being so athletic to begin with. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Liposuction Thank you for the question and post. Have you tried Sculpsure or Emsculpt. These are 2 devices which you did not mention and which can help with stubborn areas of adiposity. 100 cc is a very small volume and it may be difficult to appreciate much difference with this. Please see a body sculpting expert. Be well.

Answer: Would a 100cc lipo do any good for a relatively fit person? (Photo) Only your surgeon will know what is reasonable for your body with the liposuction that the surgeon usually performs. Liposuction can cause significant swelling. In some cases, this lasts a few months, and your final result will not be visible until then.
