I am a Specialist Registered Plastic Surgeon, with a passion for face and body procedures. I trained both in Belgium and abroad ( UK and India). I am fully registered with the Belgian and British General Medical Councils and am a member of the Belgian Royal Society of Plastic Surgeons. Right now my main focuses are Deep Plane Facelifts and necklifts and Facial Feminization Surgeries (FFS). What is the Deep Plane Facelift? The deep plane facelift is an advanced and refined facial rejuvenation technique that provides natural and long-lasting results. Unlike traditional facelift procedures, which focus primarily on tightening the skin, the deep plane facelift targets the deeper layers of the face. This provides a more thorough lift and rejuvenation. What does Facial Feminization surgery mean? FFS stands for Facial Feminization Surgery. It is a series of surgical procedures aimed at making facial features align more with a feminine aesthetic, often for individuals transitioning from male to female. The procedures may include altering the jawline, nose, eyebrows, and other facial features.
I had a fantastic experience with Dr O. Dr Oelbrandt worked miracles! I had a deep plane facelift and neck lift. I was super nervous, but my endless hours of research landed me on Dr O and I 100% choose right. Dr.O explained every step in detail. I'm 6 months post operation now. My scars are invisible, my results are natural looking. I would recommend him to anyone wanting a deep plane Facelift/ neck lift. Dr. O thank you so much, I look as young as I feel and my confidence is back.
Exactly 6 months ago I had a facelift and upper eyelid lift as well as a nose correction with Dr. Oelbrandt at the 2pass Clinic. I had given a lot of thought beforehand to where I wanted to have this operation, it was important to me that it had to be a surgeon and a clinic with a lot of experience in transgender operations. I made exactly the right choice with the 2pass Clinic. The staff at 2pass Clinic are all very friendly and there is a great family atmosphere. I also think the guesthouse concept is great because you are very well looked after there by Petra, the good soul of the guesthouse, who is always helpful and friendly. It's also great to have the opportunity to get in touch with many other trans women from all over the world. Dr. Oelbrandt took a lot of time before and during the consultation the day before the operation and gave me excellent advice. His recommendations for the planned procedures based on his extensive experience were excellent. The operations went without complications and today, 6 months later, there are no scars on my face. I am really happy to have had the operation performed by Dr. Oelbrandt, at this point I would like to thank Dr. Oelbrandt once again, my face is now finally the way I imagined it would be.
Excellent treatment by Dr. Oelbrandt. Communication and availability for the patient were certainly strong qualities. The family-oriented atmosphere and the very nice people in the clinic, who were always ready to help, also made me feel very comfortable.
I really recommend Dr.Oelbrandt, he already operated on me few times, and I’m happy about how the procedures turned out, the outcome is good and natural looking, both the face surgery and breast augmentation, doctors approach is really professional, it seems that he is really focused on patients well being and that’s sth he cares about.
This review is long overdue, since my recovery is going great and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, my experience with Dr. Oelbrandt and his team at 2pass has been wonderful. Before surgery, during my consultations I really felt listened to, and never pushed into anything other than what I wanted. This made me confident in choosing Dr Oelbrandt as my surgeon for FFS. When I arrived at the clinic I was greeted by the wonderful people working their. I got access to my room and was Petra offered me some soup and great company, and my nerves leading up to the surgery faded. The day before the surgery I met with the the surgeons (Dr Oelbrandt and Dr van der Dussen), doing the last measurements. They were both very kind and took time answering any thought I had. Aftercare was also very good and I had a wonderful time meeting patients from all over Europe during my recovery. And now as I’m closing in on 6 months since the surgery I am all healed up, and the results are looking very natural. It has helped me gain the confidence to fully live as myself without being questioned. So a huge thank you to Dr Oelbrandt, you changed my life! And for anyone considering him for FFS, I can warmly reccommend him!
I underwent the tracheal shave surgery last December. The photos show three moths post-op. The overall experience with Dr. Oelbrandt was very positive. From the beginning it was important for me to understand what kind of result I could expect considering the difficulty of my case. So before the surgery I knew that it would not be possible to shave everything, but now it certainly much better than it was before. So I am truly grateful to the doctor for it. The recovery process was without any complications. It took me around two months to see the final result. The clinic staff was very warm and welcoming.
Fantastic, I had my old implants removed and replaced with a slightly smaller size, which I wanted. Dr Oelbrandt was great, very professional. The shape is so much better and alot more natural looking. We sat down prior to surgery and he listened to what my concerns were and what I wanted. The clinic was very clean and modern. Definitely recommend
I attended the 2pass clinic after researching the clinic, emailing and making a zoom appointment with the surgeon Dr Oelbrandt. I sent photos and paid an initial consultation fee and during my first consultation Dr Oelbrandt helped me to set my expectations realistically and explained what would be possible for my female feminisation surgery. I was sent a quotation by the admin team headed up by Sophie, and the next steps required was explained to me including obtaining specialist xray. I did a second zoom consultation free of charge before my xrays were done to be sure I had understood what was and wasn't possible. I sent numerous emails that were always replied to by Sophie and Dr Oelbrandt and there was never any issues just help. When my xrays were sent over Dr Oelbrandt reviewed them and made suggestions to change my surgery. We had a third zoom where he explained clearly why he had changed his recommendations and what the difference in price would be. I had done price comparisons between the uk and Europe and the prices quoted by the 2pass clinic were better than the UK price. I paid for my surgery including the recommended stay at the clinic. I travelled out in January 2024 and on arrival at the clinic was very warmly greeted. New photographs were done and Dr Oelbrandt marked my face to make sure I was happy with his recommendations. I then went up to the guest house and was greeted by the house matron Petra who showed me around, and I met other guests. My room was comfortable, and the procedure I needed to follow was written for me. On the morning of the operation, I was collected by a nurse, and Dr. Oelbrandt went over the operation again his colleague joined him, who made some new recommendations. I felt no pain and awoke in recovery. That night, a nurse was available on buzzer in case I had any issues. I had none and slept with a cooling machine. In the morning, I was attended to by a nurse who helped me clean my hair and made sure I was OK. I stayed in the clinic for 5 nights in total. I was looked after superbly by Petra and Dr Oelbrandt and the other surgeon checked in on me daily to ensure I was OK. Food was provided by Petra and I ate really well and was cared for to the highest standards, and felt very supported and loved. Not only am I over the moon with my results, but I would not hesitate in recommending Dr Oelbrandt and the team at the o2clinic to anyone else looking for transgender surgeries.
Procedures: I had facial feminisation surgery performed by Dr Oelbrandt in September 2023. Specifically I had my hairline lowered, forehead & brow reduction, rhinoplasty, ginoplasty, and a tracheal shave. First Video consolation: I first met Dr Oelbrandt over Skype. The consolation was conducted professionally, pleasant, and very informative. Plus a copy of the consolation was produced after the session. I did find useful to watch again. In person consultation: I was nervous and uneasy the whole day before my operation, mostly while I was waiting for my in person consolation with Dr Oelbrandt, especially as this was my first time having surgery. During the consolation I became more calm, as I learnt how passion Dr Oelbrandt is about Fascial Feminisation Surgery, learning this subsided a lot of my irrational fears. Post Surgery results: Overall, generally very happy and grateful for the results, there is a huge difference in my before and after. The surgery was successful without any complications. The surgery has helped so much with my dysphoria and social anxiety, I have so much more confidence. My brow was very heavy, so I was very surprised and please to find it’s now completely flat, my nose points up and the bridge is elegant, I cried the first time I saw my nose, and again for the lack of an Adam’s apple. My recovery is still ongoing for an other 6 months, as I’m post 15 weeks after surgery. I have a lot of sensation come back, especially on the face, though, a bit of my nose still a little tingly, the top of my head is making progress, however, some of is still numb. I’ve got full facial dexterity. Dr Oelbrandt kept in regular touch with me for the first two weeks post surgery, via messaging and through video calls. Plue a few more times a few weeks after that. I had quite a masculine face, and I was aware of the limitations of maxcillo surgery can do for me. After the 3 month review with Dr Oelbrandt, there is room for further work on my nose to make it more pointy and a nasal reduction, plus fat transfer to lips and cheeks. Because my nose is still in warranty, Dr Oelbrandt will do the further correction to my nose free of charge. 2Pass/O2 clinic: The whole team involved who performed the surgery were amazing, they truly have a lot of respect for each other, which helped my nerves. They were all very kind and sensitive towards me, because when I got on the surgical bed, the fear over took and I was crying. During my time spent at the clinic recovering, there is a full-time resident, who cares for everyone post procedures, she’s basically the nonna, who is trans and has also gone through the same surgeries, which I found very reassuring too, which an other reason why I wanted the to use this clinic. I initially reached out to 3 clinics to get quotes for facial feminisation surgery. I wanted a clinic that has a good reputation of high standards in Europe. I went to The Transgender clinic in the UK, but I had to wait 6 months for a consolation, which was £300 for an hour, and I was told I’ll probably be waiting for a year, before I have any surgery. I also had a consolation with The Facial Team and I was quoted around €50,000. When I reach out to the Dr Oelbrandt at the 2Pass/O2 clinic for the same procedures he quoted me at around €23,000. His waiting times were much shorter, I waited around 2 months after paying in full to booking a date. Summary: Overall I am very happy with my results and Dr Oelbrandt, and the whole experience of the at the clinic, I’m looking forward to further procedures. I would recommend Dr Oelbrandt.
Very skilled doctor! Thinks along with the patient and tries to find the best solution. A very humane, personal and kind doctor with attention to detail. Easy to communicate with. Thank you for a smooth and skilled operation with a nearly invisible scar!
Sometimes an air bubble is confused with the edge of the implant, at the inframammary fold, particularly is there is only a small amount of tissue coverage. In other words : if the tissues covering your implant at the breast crease are minimal, then your implant is very close to the skin, and some patients describe this feeling as an air bubble. Nothing needs to be done, unless this is uncomfortable or is the skin is showing signs of damage. An ultrasound is helpful to rule out a rupture , but other than that, it won't show that much. If the skin is too thin, then certain surgical measure can be taken. Hope this helps !
Dear mrs, there are several options : - fillers , HA based , in the nasobial lines, pre-jowl, and cheekbone area will work very well in you , 2-4 mls ( syringues ) will produce a very good result during 1 year . No downtime, limited costs. - a facelift will work only provided there is a sufficient amount of laxity. This may be a MACS lift , or a limited SMAS lift. - other options are thread lift ( less longlasting ) In order to have a better idea we should have more pictures ( more different angles) Kind regards Dr Oelbrandt
Generally liposuction / liposculpture is the best treatment, provided that : there should be a sufficient amount of fat in order to make a difference. In your case , at first glance, there seems to be only a small to moderate amount of fat , hence only a discrete improvement can be made. In some patients, skin removal + liposuction will be the answer, which is called ' arm lift ' . In patients with loose skin or moderate amounts of fat , non-surgical options are also available, although surgery usually is the most efficient solution
Best to do this in two stages : - stage 1 : lower body lift / buttock lift with preservation of as much fat ( through a flap ) as possible - - stage 2 : 3-4 months later : fat transfer if some fat can be harvested from elsewhere
hi , your nose seems the priority ;Many actresses have a prominent chin ( e.g. Angelina Jolie ) . So a prominent chin can be beautiful. Nose : columellar show, nostril retraction, and hump : all of these need treatment ( open tip rhinoplasty ) Jaw : lower mandibular shave , by shaving of the outer and bottom layer of the mandible Chin : possibly chin reduction, either by cutting of the corners , or a wedge osteotomy and pulling in the corners + internal fixation with miniscrews. Based on these pictures a final decision of your jaw cannot be made.
