Choi pen system - advantages and disadvantages?

There is no advantage or disadvantage.  These are just TOOLS doctors or technicians use to carry out a hair transplant surgery.  If you are good at using the instrument your surgery will reflect it.Choi pen, Artas, Neograft, etc are all just tools.  You don't have to use any of these "tools" to have great results. Or you can use all these instruments and have bad results.

The answer to this question is very complicated and would require a seminary to fully cover all aspects. Besides, surgeons who use it will speak in favour of it whereas surgeons who don't use it will speak against it. However, I can give you two information that can guide you.1. The implanter pen is used by less than 10% of the reputable surgeons in the world.2. A decision on choosing a hair surgeon should be based on results and patient feedback rather than technique and instruments. Patients will most probably get lost trying to go too deep about surgical instruments.

I am not a fan of this method of graft placement. If used improperly, the grafts may be easily buried. The operator realy needs to know what he is doing.  If used improperly, the results can be very poor growth. I don't think there are any advantages.  I prefer to use forceps. 

Yes and no. Yes, if you are not very efficient and effective with forceps placement and if you need speed and are well organized to use it, No if you are skilled as we are in forceps use which we have been using for 24 years. I believe that as new doctors enter the business without the requisite skills that we have, these new implanters will take over the market. I have a patent on an implanter which will hit the market within 12 months or less.
