These are the morphed photos from my consultation.
Answer: Female nasal anatomy/characteristics Thank you for the question and the photos. The image morphs from your consultation look great! In my practice, most patients are choosing to have a straight profile (i.e., no significant supratip break or scoop). The choice is personal. Though this type of shape may be more stereotypically feminine, it can also be a hallmark of an operated nose. I advise patients to consider the nasal shape in the context of their other features, ethnicity, etc. and then we work toward their desired aesthetic outcome. Best of luck!

Answer: Do I need a slight supratip break in order for my nose to look more feminine/natural? hello thank you for your question and provided information as well...Based on the photos shown and the case exposed, it does not look like you have a supratip, on the contrary I see that you have a good job, but also consult your plastic surgeon about your doubts.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Thanks for the question and photos. Taking your hump down, and shortening the nose will give you a nice, natural appearance. Always ask to see examples of “noses like yours” during your consultation-this will give you an idea of what is realistic.

Answer: Nasal Aesthetics Hello,The supra tip break allows for tip definition, eliminating the possibility of a plunging tip or poly beak. Go visit a few ABPS certified/ASAPS member surgeons (or AAFPRS equivalent) who specialize in rhinoplasty. Best of luck!

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. You may also benefit from a cephalic rotation of your tip to turn up your tip slightly and a conservative dorsal hump reduction. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer animation system. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. FACS Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
