How long after nasal fracture surgery can I do physical activity?

I study Drama, which involves 6 hours a day, 5 times a week of physical activity including contemporary dance, acrobatics, jumping, and partner lifts, among other things. A week ago I got hit, and broke my nose, and had emergency surgery. Right now, I'm on a 10 day bed rest, with a cast on it, but I'm not sure if I should go back this semester to class, for fear of something happening to it. What do you think?

It is impossible to tell if your nose is broken without an examination from a physician.  I suggest seeing an ENT within the next week to see if the nose is broken.  Within a week, the swelling has subsided somewhat and will allow for a better examination.  If it is broken at...

It's too soon to tell what your final results will be. You need to have patience with your body as it begins to heal. The skin, bone and cartilage are all traumatized during surgery. Inflammation (swelling) is the normal response and will help your nose to heal and look beautiful in the end. ...

Depending on how you tolerate general anesthesia and the surgery overall, it can be possible to work on essays and assignments soon after surgery. But to be safe, it can be recommended to make your arrangements in a manner that they would not be required to be done within the first 1-2 days...

Your nose looks great! Looking at your preop and your postop photos, your surgery was quite successful. Any perceived fullness at the dorsum of your nose will likely improve with time. Swelling can remain for up to a year.
