Weight loss after blepharoplasty?

This is
a very good question. Most patients considering some type of fat transfer
procedure wonder what will happen if they lose or gain weight after the
procedure. The fat used in a fat grafting procedure typically comes from either
the abdomen, thighs, or buttocks. The fat cells maintain the same genetic
coding and will enlarge or shrink just as they did when you gained or lost
weight previously. Fat grafted to the cheeks will lose volume as you continue
to lose weight, but you will still benefit from some added volume. It's up to
you whether you'd prefer to wait to get the procedure after you meet your
weight loss goals. Good luck with your decision.

Congratulations on your weight loss so far. If you lose more weight, yes, the fat in your cheeks will likely reduce as well. If you are concerned about it, it may be better for you to wait until you have lost the weight before having your surgery. I hope this helps.

Fat transfer or grafting, involves transfer of fat cells from one part of body to another. These fat cells will only enlarge or shrink with weight gain or weight loss respectively. So, if you lose weight, tranferred fat cells, like other fat cells in the body, lose fat content and proportionally, you will look the same but thinner. Hope this was helpful. Best

You won't lose the fat cells that are grafted into your cheeks since they live on, whether they are plump or lean. They will decrease in size if you lose weight, however. The good news is that they will regrow when you gain weight.
