I am scheduled to have a lower blepharoplasty with a fat transfer to my cheeks. I recently removed Pepsi from my diet and I lost about 30 pounds already. I need to lose 25 more to meet BMI. If I lose 25 pounds, will I lose the fat that was grafted in my cheeks?

Answer: The effect of weight loss on grafted fat Fat transfer or grafting, involves transfer of fat cells from one part of body to another. These fat cells will only enlarge or shrink with weight gain or weight loss respectively. So, if you lose weight, tranferred fat cells, like other fat cells in the body, lose fat content and proportionally, you will look the same but thinner. Hope this was helpful. Best
