I highly recommend Dr. George Sanders I am recently. I had my double chin surgery and my eyelid. i am so happy and looks natural. I love the stuff and he cares about you so much beyond caring. I recommend him to everyone.
Dr. Sanders, Nurse Karen, and the rest of his wonderful staff led me through the breast reduction / lift process with ease, attentiveness, patience, and overall immense positivity. I am extremely happy with the outcome of the surgery and feel a huge change in the way I carry myself as a result. My back pain has subsided, I am able to sit on the floor for long periods of time without back support, my clothes fit better than ever before, and I feel physically and mentally happier. Dr. Sanders has operated on other family members of mine and we have all been 100 percent satisfied with the results of each procedure. I cannot recommend Dr. Sanders and his team more. Post surgery they have been so kind and attentive with the follow ups and make themselves available round the clock to answer questions. I have never felt more comfortable in a medical office, and I will forever be recommending Dr. Sanders to anyone looking for a smooth and seamless procedure.
I would highly recommend Dr Sanders and his staff to my friends and family. They took excellent care of me and were attentive to my concerns. I was worried about looking overdone after my facelift. Not at all! My results are natural. I look like myself - just younger and refreshed. My only regret is that I did not do this sooner.
I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Sanders and his staff! Since my first appointment I felt comfortable and I knew I was in great hands. I had a breast augmentation and my discomfort after surgery was minimal. I never even took the pain meds provided and only took Tylenol. I felt back to normal within days. My only regret was not doing it sooner.
Everyone is so friendly, warm and calm. Compared to other offices I visited prior to them, I really felt this medical staff goes out of their way to be accommodating, answer questions in a timely manner and is there to follow up on off hours. Dr Sanders wonderfully would give follow up calls to see how I am doing . Excellent to the core. I felt safe and reassured that I was in great hands.
Dr. Sanders staff are very caring and answered all my questions. Dr. Sanders is a fantastic surgeon at the very top of his field. He exceeded my expectations. Great results done in a safe environment.
From start to finish, Dr Sanders made me feel comfortable with the experience. I interviewed a few other people and felt he was the best surgeon for me. The younger surgeons had the same techniques but I felt his experience gave me confidence in the outcome. I have never had any sort of plastic surgery. I had a tummy tuck with him and was thrilled with my results. Dr. Sanders called me to check in immediately after the surgery and then even weeks later. His nurses and entire team are exceptional. I am so happy I had the surgery and that I chose Dr. Sanders.
It all started with a mammogram in mid January that displayed a rupture to my left implant. As soon as I got home I started my research to find a Plastic Surgeon. I turned to my doctor, family, friends, social media and newspaper articles for advice. I came to choose Dr. Sanders, a warm, hardworking genteel surgeon with artistic hands. Yes, he’s a Harvard Medical School graduate, but quite honestly, I just liked him as a fellow person. At my consultation I met the lovely and essential Suzy Ortiz who booked me in. At Pre- op Nurse Karen went over everything and Danielle sorted out my paper work and full payment. April 20th was theater day and I met Norman who is a delightful angel and took great care of me and Gladys , my fierce anesthesiologist that whipped up a wonderful cocktail of meds which I’m grateful helped me “miss the party.”I’m home now, comfortable and watching movies my husband will never want to watch! Yay!!! No compromise these next few days! I’m eating well with homemade soup, fresh fruit salad and smoothies with berries and pineapple that my hottie husband of 18 years made for me. Life is good and I’m very grateful to everyone who helped me at George H. Sanders M.D! I will post pictures of before and after my surgery to help women who are considering this procedure. I haven’t seen my breasts yet, but I’m very happy to be rid of my implants! I am 50 now and what served me when I was in my 20’s doesn’t serve me now. Oh! Big perk was that drains weren’t as big as I thought they would be! I’ll post photos later. Evidently, they’re too big to post. Updated on 21 Apr 2021: I had my check up today and everything is going well. I am still wearing the drains and staying in bed propped up with pillows. I’m on pain killers and antibiotics, so I’m practically feeling no pain, just some tingling sensation. I’m eating right, drinking lots of water and taking Arnica pills and Bromelain for swelling. I’m in good spirits and allowing my body to heal by lots of rest. Updated on 22 Apr 2021: Here’s a picture of my drains while on the road to recovery. I really thought these things would bother me the most, but they’re not too bad. They’re smaller than I thought. I slept well last night. Hardly any pain due to the medication I am taking. Using ice packs as well for swelling and drinking pineapple, strawberry and blueberry smoothies to help with healing as they’re natural antioxidants. Nurse Karen told me to stay in bed, so that’s what I’m going to do. It’s important to not let the pain meds fool you. It’s still major surgery and you must give your body time to heal. Updated on 27 Apr 2021: So I met with my NP and PS today for another check up and I had my drains pulled out 3 days ago. To tell you the truth, I was petrified after seeing my breasts for the first time once I was finally able to take a shower. I started hyperventilating and had to take deep breaths and calm myself down. There is a Saint in this Community screen named Satori9999 and after reading her journey, it put my mind at ease. So I reached out to her and she gave me such sound advice and told me what to expect in time. I highly recommend reading her journey, for she is super knowledgeable and thorough with her journey. Your brain takes time, I guess getting used to the change and I completely freaked out! Come to think of it, right after having my iv attached I don’t remember a thing. No counting backwards... nothing.. just out and slowly awakening after the surgery was completed. I think I just went into shock. I’m going to be honest... I’m still not ready to show my breasts but I’ll attach a couple to show me wearing the compression bra 6th day post op. I’ll wait until next week after I’ve done some more healing. I don’t think anyone wants to see my boobs that looks like they’re dressed up as Frankenstein for Halloween! My NP told me my scars will smooth out more and she gave me a bigger compression bra became others were very uncomfortable. She also told me to continue catching up on Netflix and not do any chores and only small walks around the house and garden. I’ve read about women doing dishes and cleaning up before their 2 weeks and my NP was adamant about not doing that. So... I’m going to continue listening to her sound advice. Speaking of resting, I bought one of those wedge pillows off of Amazon and put my pillows over it and it helps for a good night sleep and keeps you upright. Even with the shock and awe of seeing my breasts for the first time, I’m still glad I got the explant. My husband even told me I look like I’m glowing. So, I’ll take that and my good health any day! Updated on 27 Apr 2021: It’s amazing what 24 hours can do! I feel much better and starting to get used to my dear old friends...aka my boobs. I’ve been taking my Arnica and Bromelain pills religiously and adding Neosporin to my scars. Therefore, less bruising and my scars are just beginning to relax into things. I have some stretching in the skin but nothing dousing myself in Bio Oil can’t help when the doctor says I’m okay to use. So ladies, if you have this done, there will be a shock when the drains come out, but give it at least 2 weeks to let things settle. I knew in my head I was getting this done but seeing it with your own eyes takes some adjusting, especially for your heart. Just know everything will be ok. As my breast heal more I’ll post more updates. I hope it helps! Updated on 5 May 2021: Yay! I can drive again! After 2 weeks of rest, not doing a damn thing while pretty much watching the whole Woody Allen Library, things are back to normal. I feel absolutely no pain, my NP told me my breasts are healing nicely and tomorrow I start the silicon scar treatment they gave me twice a day. I am back at work and everything is going fine so far.I’m actually even shocked that I came out with more breast tissue than I originally thought I’d have. I’m bigger than I was previously before implants probably thanks to menopause and weight gain. I can’t wait to go back to exercising, but can’t just yet. I still can’t lift anything too heavy. It’s really important to follow doctor’s orders on rest when you get this particular surgery done. You can develop excess fluid in your breasts, if you don’t. I picked up some coconut oil from Target today that one of the ladies in the community, Satori999 told me to get for my skin’s elasticity. I’m feeling so much better and I do not regret having this procedure done. It was so nice to hug my daughter and not have implants in the way. I can’t wait to be able to get a massage or go to a chiropractor without having implants in the way as well. Oh, the little things!!! Tips- Neosporin helped and I didn’t feel any itching from my scars while using it. Wedge pillow will be your best friend to help with sleep. A back brush when you shower because you can’t lift your arms for a while. High fiber vegetables and fruits and lots of water for the first 3 days of pain killers will help with the constipation. Updated on 20 May 2021: I just had my 1 month post op appointment and got the go ahead to do light exercise. No planks though until another 2 weeks. I may swim though. So happy with my results and thrillled to have the implants out. Updated on 9 Jul 2021: It’s been a little over 10 weeks and I’m feeling great. Here’s a few pictures to see how they’re healing. I use the scar cream that my doctor gave me twice a day. I’m back to doing yoga, hiking and swimming. I can’t tell you how happy I am to have them out. I go back soon for a check up. Updated on 5 Oct 2021: I’m feeling fine and I still don’t regret having these implants taken out! Here are some photos over 5 months after surgery. I still use the serum Dr Sanders had given me for my scars. (See photo if interested) you can buy on Amazon.
When I first considered eye surgery I thought I would only have my lower bags removed because I have always had a heavier upper lid and I didn't want to look like a completely different person. When I discussed this with Dr. Sanders, he understood and explained to me that my particular bone structure would always give me a heavier upper lid and that he could removed the excess skin and fat without changing my whole face. I could not be happier with how it turned out. I have ZERO scars (I'm lucky that I just don't scar much usually, but Dr. Sanders really hid the scar inside my lid on the lower and just a tiny hairline incision on the upper.) Recovery: Since I also had laser treatment under my eyes, the recovery was quite long. And I was not prepared for how painful my actual EYEBALLS would be. But it was manageable.
I’ve had two procedures with dr sanders and both times I was very impressed with my results and follow up. You can actually speak to nurse Karen whenever you need help or have any questions. Not wait all day for someone to call you back like most offices. Dr sanders calls you periodically to check up on you after your surgery. I consider their approach as quality over quantity since you get so much support before and after a procedure. Some plastic surgeons have maybe one follow up after surgery but not at dr sanders office. They really do take time to make sure you get a good result. I highly recommend dr sanders and his staff if you’re considering a procedure
1) It is a safe procedure - I would give it a 3. There is a definite but low risk of facial nerve injury and parotid duct injury. 2) You do have some mild fullness in the anterior cheek area, but to get a more dramatic look, combine the buccal fat pad removal with a cheek augmentation, either with an implant or with fat injection. You could also try fillers to give you an idea of how it would look.3) It is not really possible to remove all of the buccal fat pad. I would be conservative since later in life you may wish you had more fat if your face thins out as fat is resorbed.
Good question! I do recognize the fact that your skin is not as tight as in some patients, but I would certainly not start off with a facelift. There are a variety of nonsurgical skin tightening procedures that you should investigate and even try before considering surgical skin tightening. You may also wish to consider fat grafting to fill out the skin laxity. Start off with a visit to a board-certified plastic surgeon for an evaluation.
Your photograph suggests that you are a young woman with what appears to be good skin tone. In such a case, fat removal alone via liposuction with possible excision of deeper fat may work very well since the skin may shrink beautifully without the need for skin excision as performed with a facelift. It sounds as though your plastic surgeon agrees with that assessment. I would trust him.
Your right implant is certainly lower than your left. I would give your plastic surgeon a call and send photos as well so that the doctor can handle this as they think appropriate.
Although tightness and swelling are normal after surgery, you should be evaluated for muscle weakness in the lip region that could be affecting the range of movement of the mouth and your speech. The good news is that even if it is present, perhaps due to a nerve issue, it's almost always temporary. Follow up with your plastic surgeon for a full evaluation.
