My lips are normal. I'm looking for luscious lips that I don't have to overline at all. Wondering if I need 1cc or 2cc and keep in mind I'm thinking maybe the 2cc because I want to last longer and get pain over with rather than keep going back because I didn't do enough in the first place.

Answer: How much filler to lips? I would recommend starting with 1 syringe. After a couple weeks once the filler has settled in, the swelling has resolved, and your lips have adjusted to their new size then you can add another syringe if you want. I find that this approach gives the most natural results. Make sure you find an experienced physician injector. Best wishes.

Answer: Less is more This is a common concern, so I'm happy you've asked! If you have never had your lips injected with a dermal filler before I like to suggest starting with 1 cc or 1 syringe. It's easier to add more product afterwards if you want more volume, than it is to take away the product. Lips should be soft and plush so it's important you choose an Hyaluronic Acid (HA) filler. They look and feel most natural in the lips, also, HA's are dissolvable which is a nice option if you've never done a filler before. Some HA's are not considered long term fillers, so it is something you will need to keep up with every 6 to 12 months. (In other words, just because you put more product doesn't mean it will last any longer.) Do not worry about the pain, your provider should offer a topical numbing cream or gel to apply a few minutes before your treatment to keep you comfortable. Most providers offer a consultation before your treatment.
