Lip injections are safe if administered by a board certified doctor. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. Fat or implants are an alternative. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Hi @Lindsay5494. Restylane Kysse is a great product to use for lip rejuvenation. I recommend seeking treatments from expert injectors who have the skill and experience to precisely inject fillers into treatment areas and avoid risks and complications. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
In my hands the best results are obtained with restylane. I also use a cannula in this location. This allows even distribution, safety and precision. The other option for me is fat transfer which does wonders. It is worth researching that a bit.Hope this helps.Best of luck,DrC
Dear Lindsay5494:There are a variety of great lip fillers out from Volbella to Teosyal Kiss and more. It all depends upon your baseline anatomy, your treatment goals and the property of the dermal lip. Best to have an in office consultation with an expert injector to determine the best course of action for you. All the best.
Thank you for your question. Injecting the lips with hyaluronic acid dermal fillers is very safe when done by an expert. Many different brands of fillers are available. Some will be longer lasting and soft , like Juvederm Volbella, while others more volumizing. It depend of your desired look. I suggest that you see an expert for a proper consultation and treatment plan. I hope this help. All the best,
Thanks for your question. There are many different lip filler options and it's hard to tell you which one is best for you without evaluating you in person or seeing a photo. In general, I prefer Juvederm Volbella or Restylane Silk for defining the lips or adding subtle volume to the lips. I use Juvederm Ultra or Restylane when a patient is looking for more fullness than the Volbella or Silk can provide. I recommend you see an experienced injector for a detailed in person evaluation.
Thank you for your question. Lip filler injections are very safe- in experienced hands! There are several filler options available, including Juvederm (Volbella, Ultra, Ultra Plus) and Restylane products. The choice of product totally depends on your anatomy and what you hope to achieve. I recommend that you consult with an expert plastic surgeon to discuss your aesthetic goals and create a customized treatment plan. Hope that helps, best of luck!
Hi there, Thank you for your question. Go steady and you can keep a subtle and natural looking enhancement not visible on movement of the mouth. I find results are best by gradually building up. For example, 0.5ml the another 0.5ml after 2-3 months. This ensures longer lasting and natural...
Thank you for your question. It is too early at 1-day post-treatment to determine what your final result will be. However, it is common to have some swelling and bruising after fillers for lip augmentation which can take up to 2 weeks to resolve. You can apply cold compresses to the area to help...
Sometimes fillers work well, but typically a lip lift is the best options. We adjust the lip so that it is held up exactly the way you are showing in the photograph. That's done in the office with local anesthesia and is both effective and well tolerated. Best of luck!
