Thank you for your question. The amount of bruising depends on the type of surgery performed, and also quite a bit on the characteristics of the patient. Are you more of an "easy bruiser" individual? Or not so much? When the nasal bones are broken, it is not uncommon to have bruising around the eyes. The good news is that bruising is temporary, and ones that goes away, you are still left with a wonderful nose for the long term. Just plan the surgery at a time when you can lay low for a couple weeks. Best of luck!
It depends on the degree of injury and the way that the nose is reset, but it is indeed quite common to have some bruising around the eyes when the nose is set after a fracture.

When your nasal bones are repositioned it is quite common to get bruising under your eyes. Some people bruise more easily than others. Normally, even if you do bruise, it goes away fairly quickly.

I believe you have an inverted V deformity as the bones have not been moved inwards after removing the bump . This will not settle with time and needs surgical adjustment to weaken /break the bones and repair of the upper lateral cartilages
Rhinoplasty, on a healthy person, is often done as an outpatient in an accredited office based facility, Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital's day-surgery unit.
