16 days after my open rhinoplasty, and the swelling has subsided revealing a Boney hump which I'm really upset about from a side view I'm pleased but from different angles it's obvious the bone is still there I no I will be told this is swelling but it's not, everyone who has used my surgeon has had such amazing reasults I feel like why me?

I believe you have an inverted V deformity as the bones have not been moved inwards after removing the bump . This will not settle with time and needs surgical adjustment to weaken /break the bones and repair of the upper lateral cartilages
Rhinoplasty, on a healthy person, is often done as an outpatient in an accredited office based facility, Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital's day-surgery unit.
Hi Bob, Have you had anything done to your nose before? If you had a rhinoplasty that involved osteotomies (breaking the bones) sometimes the mucosa gets caught between the bones and can grow and cause a similar appearance . If you have not then you should see a plastic surgeon to examine your nose.
