I have always had breast asymmetry, however, it became worse after my 2 pregnancies and breastfeeding. I have become more self conscious about it now in my 30's. I have a hard time finding bras/bathing suits that fit well and always have to use padding to try to fill the smaller side. I am considering surgery and I realize that I will never have perfectly symmetrical breasts but i'd like to attain the best result possible-please advice as to what would be the best surgical procedure.
Answer: Best Procedure I would recommend performing bilateral implant insertion and bilateral breast lists with internal bra for support. Implant selection is one of the most important aspects of breast augmentation/augmentation-mastopexy. I would recommend seeing a surgeon who uses tissue-based planning/measurements and a 3D imaging system. With this combination of evidence-based planning and technology, patient satisfaction rate is nearly 100% because it is proven and transparent. I recommend finding a surgeon with 6 years of integrated plastic surgery residency and also a year fellowship accredited by the Aesthetic Society. Best of luck!

Answer: 30s, severe asymmetry after 2 pregnancies & breastfeeding, what would be the best surgical procedure? You have tuberous breasts with significant asymmetry. Without having the benefit of an in-person physical examination which would eventually be needed to arrive at a definitive plan, it appears to me that you would benefit from a breast lift with augmentation using different-sized implants. I nearly always use a vertical, or lollipop breast lift, which reduces the size of areola, raises the nipple, and projects the breast. I suggest you stay away from the donut, or circumareolar lift. The donut lift should really be called the 'Do Not' lift - it provides little lift, usually results in enlarged areolas and often produces ugly scars. The donut lift should be done as rarely as possible. I recommend you consult with a very experienced aesthetic breast surgeon, as this will be a challenging procedure. All the best.

Answer: Lift and reduction Hello from Istanbul, thanks for sharing your pictures. A combination of surgical procedures could be beneficial to address your concerns. A breast lift and reduction on the larger side, paired with fat injections to the smaller side, would help in balancing the size and shape of your breasts. While perfect symmetry is often unattainable due to anatomical limitations, it is possible to sculpt breasts that will help you feel much more self-confident. Best of luck on your journey!

Answer: Severe asymmetry Dear L111821, based on your photos, it looks like you have severe asymmetry. You will probably need a reduction of bigger breast and implant on the smaller side. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Improving symmetry To improve symmetry, you can consider either reducing the size of the larger breast to match the smaller with a breast reduction, or increasing the size of the smaller breast to match the larger with breast augmentation. A breast lift can be performed to improve perkiness at the same time, if desired.
