I had my breast aug (no lift) about 6 months ago. 425UHP UTM. My nipples sit very uneven and my implants seem to have two different shapes. It’s not that one hasn’t dropped, because PS doesn’t want the left breast (higher nipple) to drop anymore to avoid bottoming out. Could pocket tightening help with the unevenness? PS sug crescent lift on RB, but that nipple is already larger and I’d like to avoid stretching. Can sn areola reduction be done as well? Or would pocketing tightening even the out?
Answer: Retightening Implant Pocket "Thank you for sharing your pictures and questions. I'm sorry to hear about your post-operative concerns. Retightening the implant pocket could address the asymmetry. Additionally, using breast mesh might offer added support to prevent future displacement. Switching the implants might also be a consideration for shape uniformity. For the nipple discrepancy, you might consider a crescent lift or donut lift to manage size concerns. It's essential to have a detailed discussion with your plastic surgeon to weigh the pros and cons of each approach tailored to your specific anatomy and desires. Best wishes! "

Answer: Breasts I do not recommend the crescent lift since it tends to just stretch out the areola in an odd fashion. You may need a peri-areolar lift. I would suggest tightening the inferior pocket on the side that is bottoming out to put it back up in place. I suspect, you were not even prior to surgery, but notice the difference more now since your breasts are larger.

Answer: Redo breasts augmentation Dear Virginian, Thanks for posting your post operative breasts augmentation pictures. It would have been helpful to see your pre operative breasts pictures. From observing your pictures the followings are noticed: 1. Bottoming out of left breast. Inferior capsulorrhaphy (internal bra, tightening of pocket) will correct it. 2. Wide cleavage. Medial capsulotomy (scar release) will give you a very nice and natural cleavage. 3. Nipples asymmetry. Right areola is larger, misshaped and positioned lower. All these can be corrected with mini lift procedure (Donut. purse string) Always consult with board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures of redo breasts augmentation in the photo gallery, to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive with nice cleavage, perky and natural looking. Best of luck, Dr Widder widderplasticsurgery.com

Answer: Revision surgery Dear johnsonab9, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Uneven Nipple and Pocket Thank you for sharing. As I look at the photos, the distance from the nipple to the fold on the left is significantly longer than the right. This combined with the high nipple on the left makes me think you may already have some bottoming out. Pocket tightening is not likely to affect the nipple position. To correct the position of the nipples and the implant malposition, you may benefit from bottoming out repair on the left and then you may or may not need a lift to adjust the nipple position. Crescent lifts, can stretch the nipple as the tension is only on one side of the nipple. Keep this in mind and discuss with your surgeon. Best of luck to you moving forward.
