i feel when I take photos for my two face sides that they extremely different or even when I put three mirrors and look at my face sides. One side is clear and neat in the picture and the other side is ugly and so much different. What is the reason for this.? Are people saying the same what I see.!?

Answer: Facial Asymmetry: The Rule, Not the Exception Dear Alexis93, The question you ask is a very good one. The vast majority of people (>90%) have noticeable differences between the left and right side of their face. The majority of these differences are related to facial skeletal growth as we age, but differences are also noted in skin, facial fat volume, muscle tone, hair distribution and even eye color. We commonly do not see these differences as we often glance over such asymmetries. I hope this helps you in the answer you are looking for. Be healthy and be well, James M. Ridgway, MD, FACS

Answer: Facial asymmetry Everyone has some degree of facial asymmetry throughout the entire face, for which surgeons have to deal with when performing facial cosmetic surgery. This includes uneven eyebrows, uneven upper lids, bony orbits, one cheekbone higher than the other and the mandible is more prominent on one side or the other. The reason for this is that in the embryonic development, there is a left-side and a right-side of the face that comes together and is never perfectly symmetrical.
