Is this bruising or tyndall effect? (Photo)

Question

Hi Doctor Am from Mauritius. Recently means two weeks ago got hyaluronic acid injection under the eyes.had a very bad experience since then I don't sleep and don't want to go out Now I still don't know if it's bruise or tyndall effect. Please help

It's difficult to tell from your pictures, but this looks like bruising. I recommend following up with your injector. If it's bruising, Icing, arnica, cold compresses and VBeam treatments can give improvement. If necessary, the filler can be reversed with hyaluronidase. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

difficult to say for sure without an exam but it looks more Tyndall effect - go back to your provider- they will usually work with you to improve these issues

From the image it looks more like bruising. Your skin phototype is dark so any bruises and/or trauma will show more and potentially take longer to resolve. Fillers under the eye can take a while to settle down, so be a bit patient. In the meantime use SPF 50 and a gentle pigment stabilising cream, such as phytic acid, retinol, or any plant-based depigmenting agents. It might take a few months to really subside.

Thank you for your question and photo, however the photo is too small to see very well. At 2 weeks, the bruising should be gone unless it was severe. If it is Tyndall affect, you can have it dissolved. You should followup with your provider. Next time, Belotero may be a better choice to avoid this.

Your photo is too small for me to make a judgement here.
I would suggest to wait it out for 2-3 weeks. Bruises would have resolved by then and if the greenish tinge remains, it's Tyndall's effect.
