Hello! I have a nice butt already I just want my hips filled in to give me a more curvy and not so square figure. How often would I need my Sculptra touched up? And how much would it cost for Sculptra to my hips? What would you recommend I do? Thank you!

Answer: Using Sculptra for BBL Sculptra is just as useful in the buttocks as it is in the hips when it comes to the enhancement of these areas. It is never a single procedure, but instead a series of two or three treatments for optimal results. The amount of filler that needs to be used on an individual is determined through the procedure process and patient evaluation two months following such a procedure. In such a procedure performed by a plastic surgeon like myself, the complications are non-existent but you must be careful and do your research as to where it is you're going to have this treatment done. Make sure this person is a plastic surgeon. Good luck from New York City

Answer: Sculptra vs BBL Hi. Sculptra is an injected medication which causes the body to produce collagen. Collagen is one of the main components of skin that helps to maintain firmness and lift in the skin. Sculptra is best for thin patients who do not have much fat to donate whereas a BBL is the better option if you do have fat to donate. In addition Sculptra can be useful for pinpoint areas that need volume such as a specific indentation whereas a BBL is better for overall volumization. I would recommend you meet with a provider to have an in person consultation. Good luck!
