Hi Canenurse, It depends on the nature of whats causing the dog ear to occur. As for having the BBL procedure done, it is possible that your problem area could be corrected with the procedure.
hello thank you for your question and provided information as well.. based in your question its difficult evaluate you if the case dont have a picture but the dog ear its deformed with extra skin, my recommendation is get a consultation in person with a plastic surgeon to discuss all about theme.
Only on the basis of in person evaluation one can give you accurate answer. In same cases liposuction of and around dog ears can improve deformity. However, direct excision of dog ears is most frequently the best treatment. Good luck.
Dear canenurse,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Dog ears can be resolved under local anesthesia. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Thank you for your question. It is difficult to say without seeing the position of your dog ears and the severity of them. With the BBL it may or may not improve your dog ears, your plastic surgeon will be able to advise you during your consultation.
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Unfortunately, without pictures, it is very difficult to give you a proper answer. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
Hello, thank you for your question. To answe that question i need to see a picture first. But the dog ears are formed of extra skin in the lateral sight of the tummy tuck incision and probably filling fat won’t fix the problem, you’ll need to get that skin removed, but it can perfectly be done in the same surgery time of BBL. Good luck!
Hi and welcome to our forum! The treatment of a dogear depends upon its location and its size. If small, liposuction of the area may flatten it. However, if too large, the dogear will be thinner but may fold upon itself, creating an unsightly wrinkle. The usual treatment of a dogear is to excise it. This will slightly lengthen your scar but will eliminate the dogear entirely.Speak with your plastic surgeon about your concern and he / she may add it to your upcoming procedure.Best wishes...
