I had a mini-restitching 2 weeks PO which led to a serious separation 2.5 weeks PO. Doctor recommended to revise immediately at 3 weeks PO. He said he’d recut fully and stitch only in healthy tissue but I was unsure and got a second opinion who confirmed it’s better to let it heal. I’ll need a revision in the future though which my surgeon will do free of charge. Now I’m unsure: Did I take the right decision? Is it better to do the revision now instead of having to go through it all again?
