Will another BBL fix this ? Is another BBL the answer?

That being said, you are in good company with many others who had high hopes for BBL but instead received disappointing results (lumpiness, unevenness, lack of projection in the central and/or lower buttock, post-deflation sagging, etc.) as most of the fat melts away. It is not quite as much the quality of the doctor nor the liposuction technique used but rather the quality of the procedure that is a large part of the problem. Thus, going back for round 2 (3,4,5 etc) BBL most often produces the same disappointing results but at another financial loss. Typically also, each successive round of BBL leaves behind more scar tissue with lower quality fat to harvest and a lower quality recipient bed of tissue where it is being transferred. Buttock implants indeed provide a more reliable, predictable, relatively safe, and permanent result, especially for adding projection to the buttock and often smoothing out lumpiness. Occasionally a lower buttock tuck may be advantageous for lower buttock fold asymmetries and/or sagging. Please keep in mind that an extremely few number of board-certified plastic surgeons specialize in buttock implants so be sure to consult with one that is reputable and experienced. Unfortunately you may have to travel long and far away from home to find this particular surgeon. Glad to help.

Hello. Sorry you send no pictures. You should really think that having 4 rounds of BBL, and even getting hialuronic acid filler, does not sounds good.

At this point, you need to seek a high definition BBL revision specialist. I do not see your photos unfortunately to help you with specific advice. You should also use the BBL assessment tool to make sure that you communicate your desired buttock shape.
The optimal BBL revision outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat since your fat has already been harvested 2) a closed looped system to process the fat in order to optimize transfer time and avoid your fat from becoming contaminated and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique that maximizes graft take. When it comes to revision surgery it typically becomes more and more difficult to create improvements the more previous procedures the patient has had.

There is no simple answer to your question without at least seeing proper before and after pictures.

No question that being in the hands of a talented and experienced surgeon is paramount and most important. Whether another operation is indicated is something you’ll need to discuss with surgeons when you have consultations.

Delivering consistent high-quality liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people believe. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of choosing the most talented and experienced surgeons for these procedures.

Patients should do that by having multiple in person consultations at which time they should ask providers to show their entire collection of before and after pictures.

It’s hard to imagine a fifth BBL as ever being needed or appropriate but without pictures we can’t begin to make an assessment.
