What should I do for hard large spots 1 year after BBL?

Question

It’s been over a year since my bbl and I had huge hard areas still in my butt. I don’t think it’s fat necrosis because it doesn’t hurt. What should I do?

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Unless you obtain in person examinations must consider having a scan of area to rule out fat necrosis. Otherwise, light layer of fat can help soften areas.

Fat necrosis does not hurt because the tissue is dead.
You should follow up with your provider and have them assess your outcome.

If that is not feasible then schedule in person second opinion consultations with other local board-certified plastic surgeons.
