Would a breast lift give me the result I want? (Photo)

Ideally, a patient should undergo a personalized consultation with a surgeon, during which a surgical plan tailored to the patient's expectations will be presented. That said, from the pictures I can see that a lift with the BRALIFT technique (Breast Reconstruction Anatomical Lift) can be performed to reposition the mammary tissue and enhance projection of the upper pole and media areas. Hello and thank you for your question. A breast lift would definitely give you a more lifted, perky appearance. However, with a breast lift, you will decrease in size about a half of a cup to a cup. Adding a breast implant would help to restore upper pole volume if that is what you are seeking. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options. Hello; Unfortunately, your upper breast poles have emptied; your breasts have shifted downwards and laterally, your nipples; they have fallen far below; where it should be. Considering change for these; it is only possible with "Breast Lift Procedure". When your breasts are lifted; the upper parts will become fuller and the breast tissues; that have gone downward and outwards will be recovered. Your nipples will be taken up and in the midline; again, it will be brought to the point; where it should be. In this way, you can achieve for a breast shape; close to the image that you desire for; you will be able to have it.

A breast lift could certainly improve the shape and position of your breast but it's unlikely to improve your cleavage or upper pole fullness. An implant would likely improve those areas more than a lift alone.
Seek out a couple consultations with board certified plastic surgeons and discuss your concerns and goals.

Advice based on photos alone is never as good as in-person examination, but based on your photos and description of what your goals are I would suggest that a breast lift is the exact right procedure for you. If you are looking to reshape and reposition your breasts then a lift is the way to go and if any change in size is desired it can be combined with an implant (to add fullness) or a reduction. Hello, breast lift surgery elevates the nipple higher on the breast mound but the gap between the breasts typically stays the same. Most of my patients are very satisfied with their results but it is important to look at typical before/after photos of your surgeon to get a sense of the outcome. The breast tissue always settles somewhat, so the result is not high and round like the appearance of breast implants. That stated, it is possible to move some of the tissue from the lower part of the breast to the upper part, which is called "auto-augmentation". If you seek an in-person assessment by a local plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, they will be able to provide more customized advice.

based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from breast lift. My preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity.

A breast lift can do several things:
1. It can raise the nipple position
2. It can make the areola smaller
3. It can reshape a droopy breast
4. It can add volume to the upper pole of the breast (especially if some fat grafting is done at the same time)

One thing it doesn't really do is move the breast foot plate. That is a term that describes where the breast comes out of the chest. If you lean forward so your body faces the ground, it becomes evident where the breast foot plate is.
