I've found out that I need 50 units of Botox on each side of the masseter for full effect. One time, I went to this injector who gave my 30 units of Dysport on each side. I have heard that you have to triple the dose for Dysport compared to Botox. Is that true? And did I get too little then?
Answer: Dysport Three 3 units of dysport is proportional to 1 unit of botox. Please contact a qualified provider or a board-certified physician with extensive experience in these procedures.

Answer: Botox and Dysport units Thank you for the question. There may be some confusion here. Your injector may have given you 30 unit "equivalents" of Dysport, or technically 90 units, and called it "30 units" using the 3 Dysport = 1 Botox unit conversion. Sometimes it is easier for injectors to do this. Please clarify this with your injector. If they did in fact use 30 units of Dysport, then you are right, it is not nearly enough. Good luck!
