I had dysport in crows feet and bunny lines a month ago. She injected under my eye and bunny lines and my face has completely dropped. My upper lip curls under and I can't see my upper teeth and can't move my cheeks up. I look like a different person. I have severe hollowing underneath my eyes and what looks like crows feet in the bags that I never had before. Is there any solution? I feel as if it is getting worse.

Typically Dysport will last three to four months. If patients like the results, they have to repeat the injections when they wear off. If patients are not happy with the results, then the good news is that the effects are only short-term and will wear off. Answer: Simply let it wear of I'm sorry to hear that you had an unfortunate side effect from neurotoxin injections. The good thing is that it's temporary and will wear off in 3-4 months. I strongly advise you don't inject your face and simply use make up and don't think about it as your face will go back to normal as it was before. Dysport simply affected muscles of your lower face responsible for raising your upper lip and cheek. This was the injector's improper evaluation of your anatomy. You should trust Botox injections to an expert. I would talk to the doctor who injected you and show them your face. I know it's not helping much, but your only best option is time. Best, Dr.Avaliani

Answer: Do I need to say that you should not get more treatment with this injector? I am so sorry that you are experiencing this terrible complication. These neurotoxin treatments seem so simple that anyone can do them, but that is just not true. There is tremendous value in spending a little more money and going to highly experienced injectors. Yes, they do charge 3 or 4 times what it might cost to get treatment at a Medspa but then you are much less likely to have a debilitating complication. This will wear off, but it can take months. In the mean time, this is one of the more dysphoric complications and seems to be associated with feelings of clinical depression. I encourage you to get help if you are feeling depressed. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Do not double down with more treatment. For now, let this wear off.
