I am an 18 year old female, and my biggest insecurity since I was 11 years old was my hip dip. It became significantly more pronounced as I grew older and at first, I thought losing weight would help but it didn't. I was looking into the possibility of getting fat injections and perhaps getting them paired with liposuction, but I would like a second opinion as well as a possible estimation of the cost. Thanks so much

Answer: Fat injecton to the hips / lipo Thank you for your question or for your photos. Deposits and fat distribution in women can be very localized and in some cases responds to genetic patterns. This means that no matter that you submit to a rigorous diet you can stillhave those accumulations of fat. Your best option is the Liposuction where at the same time can correct and enhance your hips in areas that are irregular.

Answer: Hip dents, treatment? Indentations in the trochanter region on the side of the backside are common and best respond to fat grafting. I would avoid any implant but would consider injection of your own fat to decrease the concavity present. This requires harvesting fat from another part of your body and the amount available will determine how much improvement you can expect. Some patients respond to injection treatments spaced months apart to create a cumulative effect. Meet with a board-certified plastic surgeon and good luck.
