I am hoping to get an arm lift and lipo in a year or so but am getting the implanon birth control implant this week. I wanted to know what will happen when my date gets closer. Should I get it removed before the surgery? If so, how long after will I have to wait to get it reinserted? Should I wait until after?

Answer: Wait until after surgery for implant.
It's probably a good idea to wait until after surgery to place it an implant in the arm. Perhaps having a consult with a PS before deciding would be a good idea. Good luck, Aldo.

Answer: Implanon and Arm Lifting?
Considering that you are planning arm lifting surgery in the near future, I think you may be best off avoiding the placement of the subdermal birth control in the upper arm area. You will be able to have it inserted in the upper arm a few months after the arm lifting surgery has been performed for you.
Best wishes.
