Hi! I have larger arms, which doesnt bother me as much as them folding over when theyre resting by my side. Even when Ive been on the smaller side (size 12), I had this issue in high school. Im wondering if lipo with rejuvion would work or if I need a full arm lift? Again, not really self-conscious about my arms being bigger, just the hang near the armpit that creases.
I'm turning 40 this year and have lost 170lbs after RNY 8 years ago and maintained the loss. I had an ETT 3 years ago and am looking to have a few procedures done this year. The surgeon I saw a month back said he coule combine an extended arm lift (to remove side breast skin), a revision to FDL, and a thigh lift in one go. He said it would be a rough recovery but doable and would take 6 hours. My ETT took 6 hours alone. I don't have an apron belly, I mainly wanted to torso skin addressed so maybe that part isn't as big as it sounds, like a typical full FDL if that makes sense? I have a good deal of bicep and thigh skin as ny starting weight was 393 and I am 230 as of now, 5'10. I keep wondering if I should tell him I'd rather break it up and maybe do like, the FDL and arms, then a few months later do the thighs and maybe the bra line since I'd be booking a second surgery? Or should I run for the hills? Is this a red flag? Just curious! Thank you so, so much in advance, any advice is greatly appreciated!
I had an arm lift 9 months ago and feel that too much loose skin remains. My surgeon agrees more skin could come off and has offered to do a revision. Im struggling to weigh the pros and cons and come to a decision on how to proceed. I'm really unhappy with the amount of loose skin that remains, but since the surgery, I have no feeling in the backside of my upper left arm. Massage, lymphatic drainage and acupuncture have not helped. I'm worried a revision will bring about further nerve damage to this arm or to the right arm (which is currently fine). My incisions have healed up nicely so Im also reluctant to touch those a second time.
For as long as I can remember I've always had man arms they have never fit my body. I have always been and still very much am an active person. I tend to store all my fat in my arms, face, and mid section. No matter how much weight I lose,I can not seem to get rid of my larger arms ( too me they're big for my body) not comparing myself to others. Trying to figure out what the best treatment would be for me. I saw some results from air sculpting, is there something better and longer lasting?
Hello! I Had Bariatric Surgery In December 2021. I Lost 81 Pounds And Now I Have Loose Skin Which Bothers Me So Bad. I Want To Be Able To Feel Confident Again And Not Jiggle When I Move My Arms Lol. I Am 56 And 220 Pounds. Would I Be A Good Candidate For This Surgery? Thank You So Much For Taking The Time To Answer! Have A Wonderful Summer!
I'm 53 & have severe cellulite on my arms, as I know nothing will completely get rid of it but that has to be some kind of procedure that would help. I had liposuction on my arms & stomach in 2017 & it was a botched surgery, my stomach is full of dimpling but that doesn't worry me as much as my arms as they are horrendous. HELP ME PLEASE
I had an arm lift almost 12 months ago and have been left disfigured. the scars are uneven and I have been left with dog ears, and excess skin, which falls to my elbow region.
