I want to get a tummy tuck - do I also need liposuction? Give it to me straight! (photos)

Typically nearly every Abdominoplasty I perform includes liposuction for contouring, especially for the transition from the front to back flank area. It's extremely rare for me to do no liposuction with the tummy tuck. The areas I would need to assess really are your flanks, the transition from the front to the back which your hands are covering in the photo. Based on your photos, you do not need liposuction, but liposuction of the flanks can give you a more contoured and hourglass shape.
