Tummy Tuck, 360 lipo, breast lift and lipo to arms and inner thighs - can these all be done in one procedure?

Hello. I would like to have Tummy Tuck, 360 lipo, breast lift without implants, lipo on arms and inner thighs. This is the only trip I can make to Turkey, therefore I want all these procedures to be done in one surgery. I am 39 yrs old and very healthy. Is it possible to have them all done at the same time? Thanks

This is a great question. Whenever considering undergoing multiple surgeries at once, the risks of all the surgeries should be considered against the benefits. Having multiple procedures done in one stage is possible, and safe if done appropriately in the right (healthy) patient. Prolonging the time in surgery and anesthesia predisposes patients to certain risks like blood clots, even in healthy patients. Having multiple areas operated on at once will increase your pain after surgery and affect your overall well-being and prolong recovery. The main benefit of doing all the surgeries in one setting is that you do not need to have multiple trips to the operating room and go under anesthesia. The risk of a longer surgery in one stage should be weighed against the benefit of only having one trip to the operating room. In order to qualify a patient with 3 major procedures at the same time is very important to have a physical evaluation first, a full evaluations will determinate if the patient can be have the procedures at the same time, keep in mind the time of surgery can be from 5hours to 8 hours depending of your doctor skills. Also my recommendation to have 3 procedures at the same time your BMI needs to be healthy, you need to have a good habits of foods and exercises, and your levels needs to be optimal for surgery specially a good hemoglobin levels, much of the patients with this type of procedure needs blood transfusion after surgery. All these procedures can be done in one procedure yes. But you need to be in good health and make sure your preop consultation everything is explained and reviewed. Combining procedures is common and considered safe, but there is a limit.  It is recommended that surgery time not exceed six hours for elective plastic surgery.  Depending on the extent of procedures requested, this may be too much for one surgical session.  An exam and review of your medical history is needed.  If you are intending to travel for these procedures have a firm plan in place for how you will handle any complications that may arise.  You will also want to stay near your surgeon for at least a couple of weeks after your procedures.
