Am I candidate for chin liposuction or neck lift? (photos)

Question

I have a minor double chin that will make its appearance when I sometimes smile or look down. I have gained 7 lbs and plan to lose this weight but i’m not sure if this will resolve my issue of a double chin or jowls/skin laxity? I’m not sure if a chin lipo is the way or if I should consider a neck lift/chin implant or some other non invasive procedure (filler/ulthera).,

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

​I find that VASER liposuction in combination with Renuvion or ThermiRF are best for contouring the chin in those who are candidates, but Kybella can be used as an alternative and gets better results when combined with Thermage/Ultherapy/Exilis, TruSculpt iD, or Coolsculpting. Much more information is needed, such as a full set of facial and neck photographs from all angles in addition to your age. Liposuction can accomplish the removal of the fat deposits located above the muscle, while a neck lift procedure accomplishes removal of fat deposits above and below the platysma muscle in addition to a platysma plasty.

If you look at your profile pictures. In this case only the third picture shows it you will see that your upper lip has significantly more forward projection than the lower lip.  and individuals with a deal facial aesthetics the opposite is usually true and that the lower lip will have equal or more projection than the upper lip.

Lip relationship is related to dental occlusion and dental occlusion is related to the relationship between the mandible and maxilla.

Individuals with a smaller man the bowl that lacks forward projection tend to have an underlying purchase my muscle the drapes the neck in the more oblique fashion losing that chiseled jaw line seen in individuals with large projecting mandibles.

It’s possible to have amendable that has insufficient projection with an overbite dental occlusion that is pointed (The look of a witches chin) and may look sufficient an external examination.

Fat removal via liposuction is usually one of the easiest and best ways to treat this but the outcome is dependent on the amount of fat available to remove.

I suggest working on your weight loss to start with and compare pictures of yourself from before and after the weight loss to see how much impact this has.
