Ultherapy is unlikely to be of significant benefit. It's important to have an in person consultation with a qualified surgeon. Many patients who desire upper lid blepharoplasty should be mindful that fullness around the eye (periorbita) can give a youthful appearance. A blepharoplasty performed in the wrong patient can skeletonize and hollow the periorbital region, which can make a patient look more aged. When blepharoplasty is indicated some surgeons try to avoid a hollowed look by removing only upper lid skin and not muscle. Some surgeons will use fat graft or filler along the brow to restore fullness to the brow area. Consultation with your surgeon will help determine which treatments are right for you.
The decision point for you is if a browlift procedure or upper eyelid lift - or both - would produce the best cosmetic result. This decision requires a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.
I think you are young enough to try noninvasive procedures. My process for eyelid rejuvenation is thermage of the eyes/brow/forehead, botox of the crows feet and eyebrow, filler to the brow to give it lift, and fraxel or clear and brilliant with PRP for textural improvement. All of some of these can really help to lift the eyelids and improve the apperance of the skin and eyes -- making you look and feel more attractive! Best, Dr. Emer.
Looking at your photos, you are a good candidate for upper blepharoplasty. Ultherapy only tones the skin. It does not do what surgery does for the upper eyelids. See before/after photos of upper blepharoplasty for better understanding.
Droopy brows=forehead lift! Do not waste your money on other things. If your hairline is high it can be lowered at the same time as your brow lift, This is done with a procedure we developed 35 years ago, The Irregular Trichophytic Forehead lift.
Thank you for the picture and your question. Ulthera can be a good option for a small number of patients want a little skin tightening without surgery. This works best in thin patients and really treats the neck and jawline. It is NOT, in my opinion, a good option for the upper face or eyelid regions. Based on your picture, it looks like you have some excess skin and lateral hooding. A conservative upper eyelid lift with a carefully planned skin excision can treat this area with nearly imperceptible scarring. Best of luck moving forward!
It appears that you have a combination of brow ptosis and mild dermatochalasis of the upper lid. One photo is not enough to know for sure but if in consultation your exam shows this to be true a conservative browlift (modified browlift) and limited upper blepharoplasty would help with results in a younger patient such as you lasting for many years. Ultherapy is not a solution for you.
In my experience patients that desire rejuvenation in eyelid area, especially with asymmetry, are not satisfied with non-surgical modalities. It appears from your photo that you would be a good candidate for surgical rejuvenation procedure. Of course only an in person evaluation could determine exact procedures that would be recommended. Seek out an experienced and talented surgeon that can properly evaluate your anatomy and design individualized surgical procedure that would deliver a more youthful and yet natural result.
A better recommendation can be provided after an in-person examination and evalaution, but some comments can be made form the photo. An upper blepharoplasty would provide an excellent aesthetic result, but Ultherapy could elevate the brow enough to lessen the appearance of the excess upper eyelid skin (i.e., dermatochalasis). Depending on the shape or fullness of your temples a filler may be a potential recommendation as well. The attached link and website provides more information.I hope this helps.
The photograph demonstrates excess skin on the upper lids touching the eyelashes. An upper blepharoplasty is required to remove the excess skin. Asymmetrical surgery can also be performed when the eyelids are asymmetrical to make them look more symmetrical. For many examples of upper eyelid surgery, please see the video and link below
I would suggest waiting a little longer. Usually by two weeks the swelling and bruising is gone, but it looks like you are healing slowly. A V beam laser can be done to the bruises to make them go away quicker. But the swelling needs more time.
I am glad that you realized this and now stopped. I would recommend SkinTyte Treatments to start with using a Sciton Laser or else a TCA peel. See link for more information.
A facelift will not improve the position of your lower eyelids. However, eyelid surgery can reposition your lower eyelids so that the "slope" and "droopiness" is improved. Consult with plastic surgeons or oculoplastic surgeons in your local area to find out your best options for surgery. Thank...
