How to fix UV damaged eyes/undereyes from daily use of tanning beds? (Photo)

Hi, I am 22, nearly 23, and I have terrible, terrible, damage from nearly daily tanning bed use for over two years. However, to make it worse, I must add that for the first year, I did not wear tanning goggles (I was young and did not understand the importance). Now, I am left with fine lines and wrinkles, sagginess, loose skin, along with hyperpigmentation on my eyelids and undereyes. I know that it looks terrible, and I need to do something about it because it is ruining my selfesteem.

There are many options for treatment at your age and these will be antiaging and skin cancer preventative.  I suggest topical treatments and sun protection, peels and/or laser treatments such as sublative or clear and brilliant at this time.  you should seek the advice of a cosmetic dermatologist with expertise in antiging treatments with lasers, peels, fillers, and skin care. If you are finding that it is affecting your self esteem, it is time to do something about it! It is not too late. Simple minor surgical procedures, resurfacing lasers or peels can give you a chance to "start over." A word of caution: eyelid skin is extremely thin, sensitive and has function which if messed up can cause you worse problems later. Do yourself a favor and seek a board certified clinician (in plastic surgery, dermatology or ophthalmology) with vast experience with eyelid skin.
