I had Volbella injected in my tear troughs 1 week ago. There are pronounced ridges under each eye. I know that some swelling may still be present, but the ridges are so delineated that I'm wondering if product was injected too superficially. Also, if I need to have it dissolved with hyaluronidase, does that get rid of all the filler and leave me back at square one? The reason we used Volbella is because I previously had restylene used and the swelling was severe and lasted a solid three weeks.

Answer: Volbella tear trough injections I would wait at least another week as you may still have some swelling from the injections themselves. You can then decide if hyaluronidase is needed. Even if the hyaluronidase is injected in small amounts, it is hard to predict how much of the filler it will dissolve so you may need to get treated again with filler. Good luck!
