Thank you for your question about Volbella.  Yes, Volbella only comes in a 0.55 ml syringe.  It sounds like your provider has the product priced appropriately.  Other products that have 1.0 ml in the syringe are typically priced at double what the 0.55 ml syringe costs.  Volbella also lasts for up to one year, much longer than some other products used in the same area.  We also typically tell patients to allow up to 2 weeks for any swelling and/or bruising to diminish.

Thank you for your question. Volbella comes in a prefilled syringe containing 0.55 mL of product, and I also charge $400.00 per syringe. Many other filler products used in lips- such as Juvederm and Restylane Silk come in prefilled 1 mL syringes - and retail for around $695.00 per syringe. The big advantage to Volbella is that in clinical trials, Volbella was found to effectively increase lip fullness and soften the appearance of lines around the mouth in a majority of subjects through one year.

Thank you for sharing your question.  As the newest hyaluronic acid filler in the US, Volbella comes prepackaged in 0.55cc, or roughly one half of a milliliter, syringes. Purported duration of Volbella is up to a year after treatment so the price:duration is very reasonable.  Hope this helps.

Thank you for your message! The typical Volbella syringe is 0.55cc though now there are 1cc syringes as well. I would recommend following up with your provider to see if they have this option as well! Generally the tear trough area can need 1 syringe per side, though this really depends on the individual patient. It is better to start more slowly with these injections as you do not want to make the area appear puffy or baggy with too much filler. Swelling and bruising can last up to 2 weeks so the full results are around then! 

Yes. Volbella only comes in .55 cc syringes. Prices are going to vary from region to region and surgeon to surgeon.  Swelling is the result of any "trauma" such as a needle being placed in the skin but does usually resolve in a couple of weeks.

In the United Kingdom the Volbella comes in a 1ml syringes. Each box contains 2 times 1ml syringes. This may differ in the United States. 

volbella is a new product and it does only come packaged as .55ml per syringe. The product lasts a full year and can run between 400 and 450 dollars per syringe. It can take as long as 2 weeks to see the results of the product. Swelling is almost instant with any type of filler. I hope you like the results!

Volbella is a very fine filler made with special technology to cause less swelling and last longer. It is FDA approved for the treatment and correction of fine lines around the lips and in the lips. It is the latest addition from the Allergen family of products and hence it has a slightly higher price tag attached to it. It does come in a 1 cc syringe but contains 0.55cc of product. The cost varies based on your location and the physician expertise but that's a great price you got.  The two week period is generally needed for any filler to settle in and the swelling to resolve an dit's pretty much the standard.
