Great question and concern. There is no issue with sun exposure and ocean water after botox and fillers. I usually recommend taking it easy for 24 hours but other than that I tell my clients to go on with their life. I really have no science to explain all the restrictions that come on the brochure of either of them. My only reasoning for easy first 24 hours is to let the needle holes to settle down a bit - again not much science behind that. I say: enjoy the life after the botox and fillers.
Thank you for your post. Sun exposure and ocean water will not interfere with the Botox or lip filler treatment received the day prior. I would recommend using an SPF, avoid laying flat for 4 hours post Botox treatment, and any exercise or lifting more than 5 lbs for 24 hours after treatment. It is fine to be in the sun and the ocean a day after Botox and fillers. Remember to use your sunscreen. Enjoy your time at the beach!
Thank you for your excellent question. You can be exposed to the sun and ocean one day after receiving Juvederm and Botox. Please be sure to wear your SPF. I recommend that my patients avoid bending, heavy lifting and strenuous activities such as going to the gym for 24 hours after injectable treatment. Hope this helps and best wishes!
Hello and thank you for your question. You should be fine. I wouldn't lay flat or do any excessive exercise for 24 hours. Sun and Ocean water should be okay. Make sure you protect your investment by wearing sunscreen.
I appreciate your concern. I would suggest you see your injector and compare your before and after photos around 2 to 3 weeks. This will give you the best idea about your long term results with Juvederm and lip augmentation.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO
IT is hard to give you a recommendation without a photo. I would go back to your injector to address your concerns.
Hi and thanks for your question. None of the symptoms you are describing should be related to the Non Surgical Nose Job procedure. Juvederm does not migrate to the eye and it does not cause dry eye or burning or twitching. Blindness is an immediate, extraordinarily rare side effect that we a...
Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Though your lips appear to be okay it appears that your smile line filler was placed too low along and around the corners of your mouth and after 3 weeks should be dissolved as they are unlikely to get better. Hope this helps.
Given how well formed the lump is, it is likely to be a granuloma. (an inflammatory response to the filler) These can be more common if the injections are given too superficially - which should never be done in the lip area. If this does not improve quickly, you will need to consider either a...
