Can Juvederm for a non-surgical nose job migrate to the eye area but not cause blindness but other symptoms?

Such as dry eyes and burning sensation and if so will it subside when it breakdowns or could it cause permanent damage. Could is also cause blindness, and both eyes to twitch a few weeks after injections. If so what nerve could it affect to cause both eyes to twitch?

Hi and thanks for your question. None of the symptoms you are describing should be related to the Non Surgical Nose Job procedure. Juvederm does not migrate to the eye and it does not cause dry eye or burning or twitching. Blindness is an immediate, extraordinarily rare side effect that we avoid with good technique and careful injections. I agree with the other doctors here - with the symptoms you are describing, it would be wise to consult an ophthalmologist. Hope that helps.

Filler can migrate if it not injected properly, but it's extremely rare.  If you have any visual changes you should get a formal evaluation with your Doctor. Best, Dr. Emer

You should see an eyecare specialist if your symptoms persist.
Tear abnormalities are very common in women. Symptoms can include tearing, irritation,burning and even spasms in some cases.
Fillers can not affect the nerves that mediate tear function.
Your symptoms may be helped by using artificial tears that are over the counter. Your eyecare specialist can prescribe restasis or xiidra if OTC drops not enough.
