I had 1 syringe of Juvederm Ultra injected almost 2 weeks ago. My upper lip is very smooth; however, my bottom lip still has the vertical lines. We mainly worked on the upper lip...if I have more filler injected in the lower lip at my 2-week follow-up, will it help even out my lips?
Answer: Lines an lips IT is hard to give you a recommendation without a photo. I would go back to your injector to address your concerns.

Answer: Uneven Lip augmentation Results with Fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Volbella), Implants, Fat, PDO Nova threads This is difficult to answer without pictures. This may be improved with a touch-up of fillers or if you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Is it normal to have lines on lower lip after filler, but not on top lip? Thank you for sharing your question. As the lip's volume increases you will see the vertical lines begin to diminish. Since the majority of the filler went into your upper lip this appears to be the most reasonable cause of the current asymmetry. Depending on your volume desire you can either add additional Juvederm Ultra to achieve your goals or if you only want to smooth out the wrinkles a thinner filler like Volbella will work best. Hope this helps.

Answer: Lower lip lines Volume helps get rid of vertical lines in the lip, but the trade off is more augmentation of the lip if that is what you are desiring. If you do not mind your lower lip being a little larger, than more juvederm in the lower lip will help.

Answer: Lip fillers You would have to be seen in person and properly evaluated. In general, lines may be softened with filler strategically placed.
