Will crying after Botox affect results? (photos)

Question

After receiving Botox on my forehead and the sides of my eyes, within the first 2 hours post-Botox, I received some bad news from family, and cried a lot. I couldn't help it. But I didn't rub the Botox areas, or my eyes. Tears just flowed profusely and I just tried my best to wipe them away without rubbing. Will this affect Botox results?

no crying will not affect botox, I do not think anything will affect botox after it is injected actually.  Best, dr. Emer.

If you have not had any problems with the botox by now, you won't have any days later due to the crying incident.

I'm sorry that you received bad news.  I don't believe that crying after Botox would affect your results.  I would suggest that you let it kick in and return to see your injector if you have any concerns.Regards,Dr. Ort

This should have no effect on either the efficacy or the length of time Botox will work.  since you did not rub the area of injection there should be no problem
