For significant improvement, hooded eyelids require surgery if there is enough skin. If you have extra saggy above your eyes I can suggest you upper eyelid surgery. However, from the photos I cannot do any proper evaluation, If you can provide photos with better lighting, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation.Best Regards!

Hello Thank you for your question regarding eyelids... first of all this is quite normal. But from the photos you shared of the eyelid down we can't really tell if it is really excessive or not. You would have to submit a photo of your eye completely open. If the skin is hanging then you can be a candidate for an upper blepharoplasty which eliminates excess skin. This is a rather quick procedure that can be done either under local anesthesia or general anesthesia. Hope that helps answer your question..

Following the advice of anyone who would presume to tell you what to do based on limited photos and more importantly without taking a full medical history, examining you, feeling and assessing your tissue tone, discussing your desired outcome and fully informing you about the pros and cons of each option would not be in your best interest. Find a plastic surgeon that you are comfortable with and one that you trust and listen to his or her advice. The surgeon should be certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person.

Based on your photographs you may have ocular ptosis which means that the muscle the lift the eyelid may be week or disturbed.

I would urge you to see a certified oculoplastic surgeon for proper diagnosis and treatment.
