There may be an impression of fat accumulation in the chin area depending on the position of the head and neck, whether there is fat or not. The situation is the same in your case. In the photos taken from below, a small amount of fat accumulation in the submental area is visible. There is no need for any surgical treatment for this. You might consider a HIFU treatment.

We perform this procedure in the office under local anesthesia. Precision Sculpt chin, neck, and jawline liposculpting is achieved through three tiny skin openings. Numbing medication is gently and evenly infused into the excess fat. A laser is passed through the unwanted fat and then it is removed using 3 mm and smaller cannulas. Radiofrequency can be added to promote more tightening but that is likely not needed for you. The procedure takes about 1 hour to complete. A custom foam pad is placed followed by a compression garment. The padding and garment are worn for two days and then at home and at nighttime for the next 5 days. Bruising is usually minimal to none. Pain is typically not an issue. Ibuprofen is more than enough to treat discomfort. Patients usually return to work after a few days.
