After BA and of course after the healing process, what type of bra should I start wearing? Currently I wear Victoria secrets push up bras. But I know I'll be saying goodbye to all my push-up bras after BA!! I'm thinking no wires and no more push ups (padding)... Any suggestions what the best bra to wear after BA & after healing?
Answer: Selecting Bras After Your Augmentation If an post-operative sports #bra is not provided, we recommend purchasing a couple of basic sports bras for your few weeks of #recovery. Its best to select those which fasten in the front to avoid strain from attempting to reach to your back. It's important to wear this support during recovery and to avoid underwire bras until you have your surgeon's approval.The #bra acts as a “dressing,” holding the breasts in position. If the bra feels too tight or hurts, switch immediately to sports type bra that feels comfortable. You should wear the bra at all times for at least three weeks. Moreover, it is always recommended to call and see your surgeon to discuss your concerns.

Answer: Bras Hello,It really doesn't matter as long as it supports without hurting. There is too much made about how a bra can impact your result. There just isn't any data to support that claim. So don't worry. Something comfy and supportive.Best of luck!

Each surgeon will have his/her own preference in terms of garment guidelines thereafter. I generally ask patients to keep their postoperative bra for 2 weeks following surgery. At that point, they can switch to a wireless bra (or sports bra) or go braless per their own comfort level. I ask patients to wait until at least 6 weeks to consider bra shopping for their new bras as the breast size and contour will change during the recovery period. Good luck!

Answer: Bras after ba Your plastic surgeon should provide you with a post surgical bra that normally is worn for a few weeks after surgery. After that I normally give options that are sports bras without under wire for a total of 6 weeks.

Answer: Bra after surgery I recommend that patient wear an underwire bra after breast augmentation surgery. The reasoning is that the breast needs support and gravity will continue to have an effect on the tissue. Bras can help to slow the process of breast drooping.
