Fix snoopy by lowering crease and implant?

Question

I'm 1 week post op and have a bit of snoopy. It's not too bad on one side but I'm wondering if it could be fixed by lowering the crease and implant by a centimetre or two? I'm happy with the position of my nipple so I think a lift would make my nipple too high. It's just a bit squishy at the bottom where my implant could fill out a bit more. They are textured so I doubt they'll drop much. If my guess is a possible fix, is it a fairly straight forward procedure?

Hello,Thank you for your question. At one week post op you have a lot of healing and settling yet to do- even with textured. It really is too soon to know how they will settle. I recommend that you follow up with your Plastic Surgeon and evaluate again closer to 6 months.All the best

Hi there,It is too early at only 1 week post op to judge the cosmetic outcome of your breast augmentation surgery. It is expected to have some form of swelling at your current stage of recovery, and that could also be influenced by the associated surgical technique - e.g. extra muscular spasm if you had a dual plane/submuscular approach and choice of implants especially with high or extra high projection implants etc.It is therefore too premature to advise for any revision work to be done at this early post operative stage. You might be able to lower the fold a little, but then you risk having a double bubble.  You probably need a lift.  Nevertheless I would not recommend anything for at least 6 months to allow the implants to "mesh" with the breast.

You should probably wait until 3-6months post op to consider any revisions. Always insist on a board certified plastic surgeon!

At one week, it is VERY early to judge your results. I would not even recommend considering revision surgery at this time. Give yourself some time to heal and your body to recover before you judge your look. Talk to your board certified plastic surgeon about your concerns and he/she will guide you through this journey.

At one week post op, it is very early to make any judgements about either the result, or any subsequent interventions. Let things settle for at least 6 to 9 months and then review. That said, fold lowering is fraught with potential problems if well formed to begin with, so I would probably advocate a lift of some sort, if indicated down the line. You don't need to lift the nipple much higher to effect a lift - you can tighten the lower pole predominantly, but again, way too early to tell. Give it several months - you may want / need nothing further.
