Yes, you can Have botox while on antibiotics including erythromycin as long as whatever infection you are dealing is not close to where you are being injected with botox. There are no contraindications.
Since botox is injected locally and remains in the muscles in which it is injected, there should be no problem to have it injected while on antibiotics. Botox is injected in small amounts and is not absorbed systemically requiring metabolism/excretion by the liver/kidneys, therefore it would not interfere with the metabolism of the antibiotic.
If you have been on antibiotics for a few days already, and the infection is under control, I see no problem with you getting Botox. I personally would not treat close to that area (for example in the jaw muscles or around the mouth) just to be on the safe side.
I would recommend you wait 1 week after you have completed your antibiotics before having any toxins
There is no concern with taking erythromycin for tooth or any other infection, and having a botulinum toxin treatment like Botox or Dysport.
Ideally your tooth infection Should settle completely before any form of cosmetic procedure whether Botox or anything else.
You should be able to proceed with your Botox treatment if you are taking erythromycin for a tooth infection. If you have an active infection near the treatment area it is recommended to wait until the infection has resolved before having your Botox treatment.
There is no contraindication that I know of regarding Botox and taking oral antibiotics.Dr. Taranow

Hi and welcome to our forum! There is always a small but definite increased risk of infection at the site of Botox injection if attempted while taking antibiotics for infection elsewhere in the body. It is best to wait AT LEAST 2 WEEKS after the antibiotic is completed before undergoing Botox therapy.Best wishes...
Yes, Botox can definitely change the shape of your eyebrow! You can drop the brow by injecting the lateral brow, but you don't want to get too much Botox in that area as it can cause too much of a drop in the brow. The Botox won't last as long since it's not as much as another treatment area...
Hello and thank you for your question. It is always best to see you face to face for a consult and examination however in this case yes it is possible for botox around the mouth to affect other areas close by. 4 units is a relatively low dose so after 6 weeks or so the result will begin to fade....
Thank you for your question. Botox, just like other injectables, is a temporary treatment. Typically, patients can expect to see softening of muscles in about 3-10 days after treatment and full results at 14 days. These results will last for 3-4 months. If you have concerns, I recommend...
