Hello,Thank you for your question.Majority of people have some underlying facial asymmetry. Based on your photos, it is very minor. Botox injection is an excellent treatment for facial wrinkles and works by temporarily paralyzing the targeted muscles. I hope this helps. This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
1st of all your features are very harmonious. Everyone is asymmetric and we all have a level of asymmetry especially to our faces. Botox does help to relax some of the muscles in the face and can certainly improve asymmetry if placed strategically.
We are all asymmetrical to some degree and yours is within normal limits. To improve symmetry we typically use a combination of fillers and neuromodulators, such as Botox. The Botox is often used to help with brow symmetry and the jawline muscles, and the fillers can help with facial volume discrepancies. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to discuss your concerns.
First and foremost, most people are asymmetric, so it doesn't necessarily need to be fixed or improved. That said, a combination of botox and/or fillers can often make things more symmetric in the right expert physician hands.
Dear Giving3316,Thank you for sharing your photos. Based on these, your face is actually quite symmetrical given the large variety of facial shape in humans. I recommend you consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, skilled and experienced in facial cosmetics to discuss the benefits and limitations of botox and fillers. You have beautiful features, focus on them! I wish you the very best!
Facial asymmetry can sometimes be addressed with Botox. However, I believe that your asymmetry is due to volume differences. I think that you’re right side needs more volume in the temple and cheek. I would recommend seeing a board-certified real plastic surgeon in your area we can discuss options including filler or a more permanent fat grafting to address your asymmetries. Best of luck! Facial asymmetry exists in every individual on this planet. In the great majority of people the left side of the face is considerably wider than the right side. The left eye happens to be a little higher and slanted differently than the right eye. The amount of facial asymmetry in your face does not require or need any treatment. Trying to create symmetry can only lead to more complications and a very strange appearance. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City plastic surgery
Hi there, and thanks for your question. Everybody has a little bit of facial asymmetry, and I do see what you are talking about in your pictures. There are some different ways you can fix minor facial asymmetry such as injecting fillers or botox near the eyebrows to fix the uneven brow line. Dermal fillers can make the jawline more symmetrical. The most effective option for you would probably be a brow lift, because of the excess skin on the left side of the face. The best thing to do would be to book a consultation with a board-certified surgeon so they can assess your facial muscles and asymmetry in person. I'm sorry to hear of the issues you experienced with vertigo. The symptoms you described are not typical, but are concerning. It's difficult to determine if your symptoms are related to your treatment. Be sure to always see an experienced injector for your treatment.
Thank you for your question. While a proper assessment of your face is necessary to make recommendations, your Botox results are only temporary and typically last for 3-4 months. Furthermore, jowl formation is uncommon after Botox injections in the masseter muscle. But if you’re concerned a...
