Would a nose job make me look better? (Photo)

Question

So, for years I have always cried about how my nose looked. I absolutely hate it. I'm 19, and I don't have the stable income to get a nose job so I have to save up. I feel like the front of my nose is "ok", but the size of my nose is big and not to mention it's long, pointy, and has a arch. Honestly, my ideal nose would be a smaller tip and nostrils, a nose that isn't pointy, and shorter looking. Look at the pictures attached, what type of nose job should I have?

Hello, yes your appearance could be improved with a rhinoplasty. I use computer morphing to help refine one's understanding of what post surgical options may occur without doing surgery on you. This gives you a perspective of what can and cannot be performed by computer simulation. It's best to get it right the first time so, don't rush into having something done. Thank you for the picture and your questions. It looks like you would be a great candidate for rhinoplasty. Your nose has a small bump (and a convex dorsum) with a slightly droopy tip. This makes the nose look larger than it is, and gives a less feminine contour. In your case, I would recommend reducing the bridge so that it is basically straight or has a tiny slope, raising the tip a little, and reducing the tip width mildly. This will give a natural-looking result and help to highlight your other beautiful features. Choosing to undergo rhinoplasty surgery is a big decision. Please meet with a few surgeons who perform rhinoplasty regularly. Best of luck and take care!

photographs, you have a dorsal hump, drooping tip, and a bulbous nasal tip.  An operative plan for your rhinoplasty could include a tip refining rhinoplasty, cephalic rotation of your tip to turn
up your tip slightly, dorsal hump reduction, and a columellar strut graft to add tip support.  Make
sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients
who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer
animation system.  You should be able to
view numerous pictures of actual patients with noses similar to yours performed
by your surgeon.

A closed rhinoplasty approach can accomplish shaving down the dorsal hump, narrowing the bridge line and lifting the nasal tip. All of the incisions are placed on the inside of the nose. If you're wanting to narrow the nostrils, then an alar-plasty procedure is performed to accomplish that. The incision is located directly at the floor of the nostrils. Hi,
Based on the photos you provided, it appears you do have a an over projected dorsum and nasal tip. The tip would need to be reshaped and the bridge reduced.  The bridge can be further refined as well. Ethnic rhinoplasties are by far the most challenging cosmetic operations in cosmetic surgery. This because the anatomy and skin thickness requires special techniques to achieve desired results.  I would suggest a formal evaluation with a rhinoplasty specialist to learn of the best treatment options.  Make sure you see numerous before and after photos with results you like and seek. Choosing the right surgeon who has experience is imperative; you want to avoid any revision in the future.
