So, for years I have always cried about how my nose looked. I absolutely hate it. I'm 19, and I don't have the stable income to get a nose job so I have to save up. I feel like the front of my nose is "ok", but the size of my nose is big and not to mention it's long, pointy, and has a arch. Honestly, my ideal nose would be a smaller tip and nostrils, a nose that isn't pointy, and shorter looking. Look at the pictures attached, what type of nose job should I have?
Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello, yes your appearance could be improved with a rhinoplasty. I use computer morphing to help refine one's understanding of what post surgical options may occur without doing surgery on you. This gives you a perspective of what can and cannot be performed by computer simulation. It's best to get it right the first time so, don't rush into having something done. Hope this helps!Michael Kulick MD Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, San Francisco Ca. Answer: Rhinoplasty Candidate Thank you for the picture and your questions. It looks like you would be a great candidate for rhinoplasty. Your nose has a small bump (and a convex dorsum) with a slightly droopy tip. This makes the nose look larger than it is, and gives a less feminine contour. In your case, I would recommend reducing the bridge so that it is basically straight or has a tiny slope, raising the tip a little, and reducing the tip width mildly. This will give a natural-looking result and help to highlight your other beautiful features. Choosing to undergo rhinoplasty surgery is a big decision. Please meet with a few surgeons who perform rhinoplasty regularly. Best of luck and take care!

Answer: Rhinoplasty to create a more refined nose Dear Kdsoul,A rhinoplasty can definitely achieve your goals of lifting the nose and making it shorter and less pointyThere are financing plans that can help you, but in reality, you should have some sort of stable income so you are not financially stressed at the time of your procedureYou are still very young and be choosy with your plastic surgeon, because if your surgeon does not have experience, a revision rhinoplasty can be 2-4x as expensiveMy advice is for you to set a rhinoplasty as your goal and save money each month until you can afford itDr. Nima Member, American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon Board Certified in Head and Neck Surgery
