Since I discovered Miradry, I finally have hope that I can get my life back. I've tried every deo, soap, etc, but I smell as soon as I get out of the shower. I'd love to get this done ASAP, but I'm currently breastfeeding. Do I need to wait until I'm done? What does recovery entail? Also, I have breast implants & the incision site is my underarm- will this interfere with miradry & will it interfere if I need to get my implants replaced in the future?
Answer: MiraDry and breast-feeding Thank you for your question. I would not recommend that you have miraDry while breast-feeding. If you really are bothered by the symptoms, and would really like to proceed with the procedure, you may want to pump and dump for a few days while you are taking pain medication. With respect to the breast implant, you would need to avoid treating directly over that area. I would go to a plastic surgeon's office that has miraDry as they would be more comfortable in assessing how close to the breast you can get with the treatment.

There isn't any studies proving (or disproving for that matter) the safety of your unborn child therefore it is always better to err on the side of caution. I would wait until after you are done breastfeeding... not that I think anything will happen if you do it while breast feeding. Just overly cautious, I guess.
