I have been researching getting Miradry for my underarm hyperhydrosis and found this website. i read in some of the reviews that level 5 is now the standard setting to achieve the most effective treatment. Is this true? Are there other factors that would require a patient to receive a lower level treatment?

Answer: MiraDry Protocol for Best Results MiraDry® is FDA cleared for eliminating underarm sweat. It is non-invasive, requires minimal to no downtime, with permanent results. MiraDry uses electromagnetic energy which is proven to be the ideal method for treating the sweat and odor glands in the underarm. It creates targeted heat in the area where glands reside and safely eliminates them. The newest studies show that treating at Level 5 is safe and highly effective.#excessivesweating #Miradrytreatments #sweatelimination

Answer: MiraDry level 5 Thank you for your question. We were one of the first providers in Houston to have miraDry. We now routinely use the level five energy setting which is the highest level. We have found that by modifying our Anesthesia technique, we can do this safely without risk of injury to the underlying structures. The Anesthesia component is very important, and not all offices are able to offer this.
